Someone asked me the other day about the situation in Iraq now. I answered him with what I am hearing and reading recently from people and on the Internet: "the situation in Baghdad, in particular, is becoming much safer than ever. People started to go to shops... drive their cars around normally, more or less like in any other city in the world. However, not entirely safe, but much better". His was surprised, and asked "so the American surge plan in Iraq has finally succeeded?" I replied "No, I think the Iranian penetration plan in Iraq has succeeded"!

I'm seeing this argued by both political sides in America...but I'm like 'Whats your point?'.. so some feel 'safe' to go to the shops?...They are still an occupied nation by an invading army! ...should they feel thankful they are not being shot while shopping....
ahhhh mix the americans just dont get it!
yes, but when people feel safe on the street, then the argument will come to a stop between these two political sides, there will be talk about the success and the occupier will turn to the liberator!
Oh I love the pic - sums things up so very well .... :-(
