A couple of months ago the company I work for decided to make the building smokefree. They removed all smoking booths in the different floors so the only option is to either smoke outside at the main gate of the building or go to the parking lot where a smoking corner has been setup.
I know that the attempt by those who made such a decision was to promote the idea of quit smoking and minimize the complaints by non-smokers, but the situation does not look good. All smokers now should go outside or to the parking lot, it is extremely cold and today is snowing, many would catch a cold and maybe stay at home because of the flu. The result? less people would go to work and production is affected.
And don't suggest that we quit smoking

Anyway, I think the process of your smoking will be faster. And such mini-pauses will be less frequent.
I think it's a good idea.
duder, just use nicotine gum when you cannot smoke.
how many cancer sticks do you use daily?
XOXO, I am a very quick smoker, won't be able to speed up more LOL
hey, my friend, glad to see you again :)
I thought of suggesting to my boss to move all servers they have to the outside, they won't need airco to cool up the servers for them ;)
Hmmm... Ok. Let it be. There is another advantage. You move your glutes from the chair and go outside to breathe pure air...
Yes.. glute stimulation.. lol..not a bad reason to go outside and smoke. I think you will make it through this one. It is a lesser of the evils you may have to deal with daily :)
Non smokers are VERY Disrespectfull of smokers...and as fare as i know, smokers still pay as much tax's (even more actually) as everybody else.
So, RESPECT is the Word missing in people's mind most of the time...and making joking about a serious matter is funny just for the Stupid prick that made it.
anyway, in the company i am working for, they HAD to create an internal space for us SMOKERS to smoke in peace. of course there will always be some smokers/non-smokers that will have a stupid atitude towards each other, but hopefully Mutual RESPECT will prevail.
